IPL: Sunrisers (Sunrisers ) Hyderabad achieved a spectacular victory in the 50th match of IPL 2024. They defeated Rajasthan Royals by 1 run in a match that lasted till the last ball. This is only the second defeat of Rajasthan this season. The first-placed Rajasthan team had to score 13 runs in the last over to win. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled brilliantly in front of Rovman Powell and Ravichandran Ashwin. When Rajasthan had to score 2 runs on the last ball, he got Powell out LBW and gave the team a memorable victory.
Bhuvneshwar became player of the match
Bhuvneshwar not only did wonders for Sunrisers in the last over, but he also bowled tremendously in the first over. He sent Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson to the pavilion on zero. He was also chosen player of the match. Bhuvneshwar took 3 wickets for 41 runs in 4 overs. In the match, Sunrisers captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first. Sunrisers had scored 201 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Rajasthan team could score only 200 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Sunrisers had a slow start

Avesh Khan took 2 wickets. Sandeep Sharma got a success.
Butler and Samson’s account not opened
Rajasthan had a bad start in the run chase. His two main batsmen were out in the very first over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar made Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson his victims. He got Butler caught by Marco Yansen. At the same time, Samson was clean bowled on an excellent swing ball.
Parag and Yashasvi made a century partnership
After two wickets fell in the first over, Riyan Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal took charge. Both the batsmen made a partnership of 134 runs in 78 balls for the third wicket. Yashasvi got life on the first ball of the fourth over. Captain Pat Cummins dropped an easy catch on Marco Jansen’s ball.
