There is a slight drop in temperature in the morning and evening. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 9.8 degrees Celsius, which is 2.3 degrees Celsius more than normal. The maximum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 23.7 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department said that on January 26, the minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius and the maximum 20 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of light winds and fog in the morning. The sky will be clear during the day and there will be bright sunshine. The Meteorological Department said that there is no forecast of rain in Delhi on January 26.
Severe cold in Haryana and Punjab
Meanwhile, Delhi’s neighbouring states Haryana and Punjab are experiencing severe cold. On Friday, the temperature was recorded below 10 degrees Celsius at many places in Haryana and Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, Faridkot in Punjab has been experiencing severe cold and the minimum temperature was recorded at 3.8 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Amritsar was recorded at 5.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature in Pathankot was 5.7 degrees Celsius.
Temperature 6.4 degrees in Karnal
The Meteorological Department said that on Friday the minimum temperature in Karnal, Haryana was 6.4 degrees Celsius, Narnaul 7.3 degrees Celsius and Bhiwani 7.2 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Sirsa was recorded at 8.6 degrees.
