Putin praised PM Modi.(Putin) 

New Delhi: India’s old ally Russian President Vladimir Putin (Putin)  has once again sung odes in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin described him as a ‘very intelligent person’ and said that under his leadership India is making great progress in development. President Putin also expressed hope for further cooperation between Russia and India in the field of financial security and fight against cyber crime.

Vladimir Putin said during an event, ‘We have very good political relations with Prime Minister Modi, he is a very intelligent person. And under his leadership India is making great progress in the field of development. This fully fulfills the interest of both India and Russia to work on this agenda.’ Let us tell you that last month also Putin, while addressing the 8th Eastern Economic Forum, had praised PM Modi for Made in India. .

India supported Russia in G20
Actually, this comment of Putin has come immediately after the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration at the G20 summit in India. It is noteworthy that in the New Delhi Declaration, there was a call for establishing peace in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, but the blame for this was not put on Russia, which is completely opposite to the Bali Declaration.

The G20 New Delhi Declaration was welcomed by Moscow and Russia termed it a ‘milestone’ and also praised India’s active role during its G20 presidency in ‘uniting’ G20 countries from the Global South. For example, we should emulate India.’ He further said, ‘They are focusing on manufacturing and use of Made in India vehicles. I think Prime Minister Modi is doing the right thing to promote the Make in India programme. He is right.
