New Delhi: The weather changed late Thursday night in the entire NCR including Delhi-Noida. Dust storm is blowing in many areas. The sky is cloudy. Due to the change in weather, millions of people have got relief from the heat. Strong winds are blowing in Delhi and Noida. Light rain may occur in Delhi-NCR in the next few hours. Earlier, it rained in Delhi-NCR late on Wednesday night as well. Rain may occur in the next few hours Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted that there is a possibility of dust storm or drizzle with thunder along with light rain in the national capital late in the evening and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph. According to the IMD, due to the effect of the new western disturbance, a change in the weather is being seen in Delhi. It may rain  ( rain) on Friday too
The Meteorological Department has forecast partly cloudy sky on Friday, light rain with dust storm or thunder and strong winds at a speed of 25 to 35 km per hour. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 43 and 29 degrees Celsius respectively. Rain and dust storm also hit the national capital late on Thursday night, giving relief to Delhiites from the scorching heat.

Mercury drops to 41.2 degrees
Earlier, Delhiites got some relief from the scorching heat on Thursday, where the maximum temperature fell from 44 degrees Celsius to 41.2 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above normal. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was four degrees above normal. According to the IMD bulletin, the minimum temperature in Delhi on Thursday was recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius, which was three degrees below normal. Mercury drops to 41.2 in Delhi
The national capital’s primary weather station Safdarjung recorded a maximum temperature of 41.2 degrees Celsius, while other weather stations in Delhi like Najafgarh and Narela recorded a maximum temperature of 44.4 degrees Celsius and 42.8 degrees Celsius respectively. The bulletin said that the maximum temperature was recorded at 43.2 degrees Celsius at Aya Nagar station, 40.6 degrees Celsius at Ridge area and 42.3 degrees Celsius at Palam.
