Insurgency intensifies in PoK

Large-scale protests started in PoK against the mobilization of Frontier Corps and Ranger Army of Pakistan Army. It is from Dadyal area of Muzaffarabad where a large number of people gathered and demonstrated against the Pakistan government. When Pakistani Rangers tried to stop the mob, their patience broke and a soldier was beaten up by the mob.

Why are people angry?
The people of PoK are continuously raising their voice against all these issues. Protests are taking place because everyday things have become very expensive there and there also seem to be some political reasons because not enough information is available. It becomes a little difficult to get information from the Pakistani government regarding such issues.
The people of PoK are protesting also because Pakistan is selling the natural resources of PoK to the neighboring country China. An example of this is Pakistan’s CPEC corridor. Pakistan has mortgaged the area from Balochistan to PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan to China.
Conspiracy to sell part of PoK to China
China is now going to launch Phase-2 of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in PoK. This was revealed when Pakistan’s Planning Minister Ehsan Iqbal visited China and met Sun Weidong, Vice Minister of the Chinese Foreign Ministry. Sun Weidong had been ambassador to India at the time of the Galwan incident.
