‘Pepperoni’ storm moving towards Jupiter? NASA’s new

New Delhi. NASA is known for sharing stunning photos and videos of space. This time, the space agency has left internet users in complete shock after the space agency shared a video of a “pepperoni” storm over the planet Jupiter.

The video shows an infrared view of the north pole of the planet Jupiter. “The film uses imagery derived from data collected by the Jovian Infrared Auroral Mapper (JIRAM) instrument on our NASA solar system mission Juno.

The space agency says that due to being deep in Jupiter’s atmosphere, the yellow regions are warm and in the same way the dark regions are cold due to Jupiter being higher in the planet’s atmosphere.

NASA wrote, “In this video clip, the maximum temperature of the brightness of the light is around 260K (approximately -13 °C) and the lowest is around 190K (approximately -83 °C). The video was shared on Twitter by NASA on February 10, which means National Pizza Day.
