Amritsar. Often people get so addicted to playing games on mobile and they are ready to go to any extent for it. One such case has come to the fore in Amritsar where a woman agreed to cross the border for a man she met through online Ludo. On Wednesday, near Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, a woman was asking about a vehicle to go to Attari. When the security officer, Narinder Singh, standing there suspected this woman, he started interrogating the woman. Then it came to know that the woman wants to go to Pakistan to meet her friend.

This woman named Shivani, who was trying to go from Amritsar to Pakistan, hails from Dholpur, Rajasthan. During interrogation, Shivani told the security personnel that she was friends with Ali of Pakistan. With which his friendship was played six months ago while playing Ludo on mobile phone. Ali has called to meet him and asked him to reach Amritsar from Rajasthan.

Ali asked him to reach Attari by some ride from Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar. The woman said that her friend also said that he would send one of his friends to pick her up from Attari who would bring her.

Shivani had left her husband and child for this friend of Pakistan. During interrogation, it was revealed that both of them started chatting with each other online. He also talked to Ali several times on WhatsApp. Shivani told that all she knows is that Ali lives in Pakistan. Apart from this, he has no knowledge of Ali.

ACP East Manjit Singh said that Shivani’s family members have been informed about this. They have left for Amritsar from Rajasthan. They are likely to reach Amritsar late at night. Shivani will be handed over to the family members on their arrival.
