New Delhi. There has been a return from most parts of the country, after which the heat is increasing rapidly. The situation is changing so fast that the mercury has crossed 37 degrees in Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Konkan, Gujarat and western Rajasthan can reach 39 degrees in the next two days. On the other hand, the minimum temperature in Delhi on Monday morning was 13.1 degree Celsius, which is two degrees higher than the average temperature of the season.
The India Meteorological Department said Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday, seven notches above the season’s average and the highest for the month in two years. The department said the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.4 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this season.
In the coming days, the heat will torture more
There is a possibility of further increase in temperature in the coming days. However, light mist and fog may persist in the morning in Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh for the next few days. A slight drop in the temperature is being recorded in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain and drizzle in the northeastern states including West Bengal.
The Meteorological Department says that the temperature in Delhi has been recorded up to 10 degrees Celsius above normal. According to the department, due to the development of a cyclonic system over the North Arabian Sea and adjoining Gujarat region, there has been a sudden increase in the temperature in the state in the past days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and parts of Himachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours. On the other hand, day and night temperatures may remain above normal in parts of western Himalayas, northwest and central India.
On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Rajasthan will remain dry. However, a weak Western Disturbance is likely to bring down the temperature by 2-4°C from February 21-22.
