New Delhi. In the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in a total of 24 states (24 states) of India. Torrential rains are expected in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Although the Meteorological Department says that for the next four to five days, the rainy season will continue in many areas of the country including the Northeast. According to the Meteorological Department, it is certain to rain at some places in Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 24 hours. There may be light to moderate rain here. On the same lines, the rainy season will continue in the North-East from 16 to 20 August. Areas of Vidarbha including Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh may receive rain from 17 to 20 August.
These days monsoon rains are wreaking havoc in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department believes that torrential rains may be seen in some areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal. There has also been a warning of a storm. Apart from this, rain has been predicted in some areas of Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Konkan and Goa in the next 24 hours.
Rain after a long time in Rajasthan
Since the weakening of the monsoon in the month of August, there has not been much rain in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department says that it may rain in some parts of eastern Rajasthan like Jaipur, Bharatpur and Jodhpur for the next two days. On the same lines, rains may occur in some coastal areas of Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in South India. It is being told that it may rain in the state of Tamil Nadu for the next two days. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain at one or two places.
