Palestinian terrorist group Hamas has confirmed the death of Mohammad Deif, ( Mohammad Deif) the head of its military wing, while Israel had announced his death six months ago. This is the first time Hamas has issued a statement about Deif, while the Israeli army had announced in August last year that Deif was killed in an airstrike in southern Gaza a month ago.
He was the main conspirator of the attack on Israel
Hamas’ confirmation of Deif’s death on Thursday put an end to all the speculation about his condition for months. Deif was allegedly the main conspirator of the attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7. This attack led to a war in Gaza. Mohammad Deif was at the top of Israel’s most wanted list for many years.
Israel had bombed
The Israeli army had heavily bombed the coastal area of Gaza last year in an attempt to kill Deif. Many people were killed in the attack. The Israeli army had said that it had killed Deif in the attack. However, Hamas neither confirmed nor denied the death. Deif’s wife and his newborn son were killed in an Israeli air strike in 2014.
