Is it possible to live here?(possible )

Earth: Scientists have discovered (possible ) a planet shaped like Earth. According to a report, its name is Gliese 12b. Also, its surface temperature is around 107 degrees Fahrenheit (42 degrees Celsius). It is being told that it will take about 2.25 lakh years to reach Gliese 12b by the fastest spacecraft currently available.

Scientists have discovered a planet shaped like Earth. Two teams of scientists have discovered a theoretical habitable planet. This planet is smaller than Earth, but larger than Venus.

Scientists have told that this newly discovered planet is orbiting a small star about 40 light years away. According to a report, the planet named Gliese 12b orbits a cool red dwarf star located in the exoplanet constellation Pisces. This red dwarf star is about 27% of the size of our Sun and 60% of its temperature.

Scientists have also said that the star of Gliese 12b is much smaller than the Sun, so this planet is in the habitable zone. According to the ideal distance of this planet from its star, water may be present here. This planet completes its orbit every 12.8 days.

It is being told that scientists have calculated the surface temperature of Gliese 12b to be about 107 degrees Fahrenheit (42 degrees Celsius).

Masayuki Kuzuhara, a project assistant professor at the Astrobiology Center in Tokyo, said that we have found the nearest, transiting, temperature, Earth-sized world to date. Once the planets with Earth-like temperature are identified, then scientists can analyze them to determine which elements are present in their atmosphere and most importantly, whether there is water present there to sustain life.

Larissa Palethorpe, a doctoral student at the University of Edinburgh and University College London, said that we have found that there are only a few exoplanets, which are good candidates for the possibility of life. Now this new exoplanet is the closest to us and hence it is a very big discovery.

Also, Palethorpe said that this planet cannot be reached, because it is about 40 light-years away. It will take about 2.25 lakh years to reach Gliese 12B from the fastest spacecraft currently available.
