New Delhi. After operating the first two squadrons of the long-range air defense system S-400 missile, the Indian Air Force is soon going to conduct its first firing in the country. It is considered capable of shooting down other missiles along with fighter jets.

He said that India has already deployed two missile system squadrons in security at different places. Officials told that the first squadron has been deployed in Punjab. From here it will be able to cover the border of Pakistan as well as the northern and western regions.

This system of missiles equipped with different ranges can eliminate enemy ballistic and cruise missiles, fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles flying at a distance of up to 400 km. This system can target enemy fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, ballistic and cruise missiles and cruise missiles from a distance of up to 400 kilometers. Sources said India and Russia have signed a deal worth over Rs 35,000 crore for five squadrons of S-400 air defense missiles. All supplies are expected to be completed by the end of 2023-24.
