45 crore devotees have taken a dip in Mahakumbh
The Uttar Pradesh government had estimated that 45 crore devotees would take a holy bath in the 45-day long Mahakumbh event. However, this target was achieved in less than a month on Tuesday.

Magh Purnima is a symbol of the end of Kalpavas
Kalpavas ends with the bath on Magh Purnima. Devotees start Kalpavas from Paush Purnima and follow pure conduct, fasting and satvik life during it. Kalpavas stay continues for a month. This year more than 10 lakh Kalpavasis stayed in Maha Kumbh.
