Muzaffarpur. Lockdown in Corona closed the business of many people, while many businesses were also formed. The idea of doing business came to many people only during Corona. Similar is the story of Pooja Srivastava, a business woman (women) living in Bibiganj locality of Muzaffarpur. Today, Pooja has her own sanitary pad company, which is gradually getting a lot of demand in the market.
Initially the sale was only 20-30 thousand
Pooja tells that in the beginning of the company there was only 20-30 thousand sales in a month. Gradually this sale increased and the sale of the company grew. The sale reached 74 lakhs in the first year, whereas now there is an annual turnover of 1.5 crores. If Pooja is to be believed, she used to teach in school before starting this work. When the lockdown was imposed in Corona, 7 women working with them lost their jobs.
His household was run by this job. Seeing their unemployment, I started a sanitary pad company by connecting those women. In the beginning, women used to deliver sanitary pads of their company from door to door. Later our brand started being available in shops. Pooja says that she mostly promotes women in her company.
There is no season for sanitary pads
Pooja Srivastava tells that when she thought of business during the lockdown, the idea of sanitary pad business came up. She says that there is no season for sanitary pads. Its demand remains throughout the year. In such a situation, its demand is already made in the market. There is no need to create demand for this. Pooja further tells that sanitary pads are necessary in every household. In such a situation, she is trying to make sure that women get good products at low prices. Pooja says that going forward she is working to make her company the number one company in the country.
