Police informed on Monday that a 30-year-old woman was gang-raped by four people in Fatuha area of Patna by taking her captive. After carrying out the crime, the accused threw him in a water pit near NH-30 on Sunday evening and then fled. According to the victim’s statement, the accused kept her hostage till Sunday and raped her one by one.
Fatuha SHO Manoj Kumar said that the woman regularly used to come to Patna Sahib from Bihar Sharif for her job. On Sunday, she boarded the Rajgir-New Delhi Shramjeevi Express train and got down at Patna Sahib railway station. She took an auto and reached Fatuha, but due to no other vehicle to go to Macuria, she started walking towards her destination.
The local goons saw her walking alone on the road and forcibly took her in an auto to an unknown place, where they raped her. After committing the crime, the accused threw him in a water pit near Nai Road and fled from the spot.
He said that the woman was spotted by a police patrol, which brought her to Fatuha police station. He has given the details of the accused. Efforts are on to nab them.
