Chhatarpur: In Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, two passenger buses collided on Saturday. More than 80 passengers are reported to have been injured in the accident. This accident took place in Gulganj police station area of Chhatarpur district. At present, all the injured are being treated at the district hospital.

According to the information received, the bus going from Chhatarpur to Badamalhara was stopping at Gulganj and filling the ride. Then another bus coming from behind at a high speed hit the first bus from behind. The collision was so strong that the bus which hit from behind blew up. The second bus also overturned. A large number of passengers were present in both the buses at the time of the incident. In the incident, 80 passengers were injured, while 20 to 25 passengers were seriously injured.
The injured were sent to the hospital
Gulganj police reached the spot as soon as the incident came to light. After this the injured were taken to the primary sub-health center for treatment with the help of dial 100 and ambulance. From here the seriously injured were referred to the district hospital. Women and children are also among the injured. At present, the police has started the investigation of the case by taking all the injured to the hospital. According to eyewitnesses, the incident was coming from behind because of the negligence of the bus driver. He was driving the car at high speed due to which the accident happened.
