New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken a big action in the railway tender corruption case and has arrested several officials including Divisional Railway Manager (DRM). (DRM ) According to the information, CBI has arrested a total of seven accused including five officials. They are accused of taking a bribe of Rs 11 lakh in lieu of railway tender allocation. They were also given jewellery in lieu of getting the work done.

CBI has arrested Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Senior Divisional Finance Manager (Senior DFM), then Senior Divisional Engineer (Senior DEN) Coordination of Guntakal Division (Andhra Pradesh) in this case.

Apart from these officials, CBI has arrested a total of seven people including office superintendent, accounting assistant, director of a Bangalore based firm. He has been arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 11 lakh and jewellery for showing favouritism in railway tenders etc.
