Society is more important than nation
Even for those doing politics riding on the wave of nationalism, it may be a bit difficult to accept the fact that the same Deendayal Upadhyay, whose ideas they claim to practice in public life, never used the power of the state or power in the society. not placed above. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay has always considered society more important than the nation. He said that at one time the nations considered to be very powerful such as Greece, Egypt, Rome etc. were destroyed. Whereas the nationless Jews have re-established their nation after thousands of years on the strength of their social power. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay considered the state to be a great power but did not consider it as the supreme power.
society not joint stock company

In his concept, Deendayal clearly says that the way a human is born, in the same way a society is also born. Individuals and individuals together can never make a society. Samaj is not a joint stock company. Society is also a living entity like a human being. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay firmly believed that every country has its own special social, historical, political and cultural circumstances.
Society can face every difficulty
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay also told from the example of Veer Shivaji of Maharashtra that if the strength of the society is organized and a leader who gives it the right direction, then a nation or society can not only face adversity and difficult situations, but also get rid of them. can achieve. He believed that the then government had continued the tricks of the British government to reduce the strength of Indian society and hence it should be opposed. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay clearly believed that the common goal, ideal, idea and mission of people’s life is the soul of a nation. If it is lacking in the lives of the citizens of a country, then the nation will not become strong.
