United Nations. China on Wednesday blocked at the United Nations a proposal by India and the US to blacklist Hafiz Talah Saeed, son of Hafiz Saeed, the chief of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. This is China’s second such step in two days. Hafiz Talah Saeed (46) is the son of Hafiz Saeed, a prominent leader of the terrorist group Lashkar and the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. In April this year, he was declared a terrorist by the Government of India.
It is being told that China obstructed the resolution under the 1267 Al Qaeda Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security Council. This is the second time in two days that Beijing has blocked an Indian and US attempt to designate a Pakistani terrorist as a global terrorist. China on Tuesday blocked the proposal of India and the US to include Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Shahid Mehmood in the list of global terrorist.
Actually, China has saved terrorist Mahmood from being declared a global terrorist by using its vote of privilege on a joint resolution of India and America in the UN. Let us tell you that Mahmood is a terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba and a prominent member of Jamaat-ud-Daw organization. He, along with Hafiz Saeed, carries out terrorist activities in India.
