Imran Khan (Imran Khan)arrested from Islamabad High Court premises

There is a long list of incidents like political upheaval, power change, killing of leaders during public meetings.

The arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Pakistan is not a new thing for the politics here, because such incidents have often been seen here. The first Prime Minister of Pakistan is also a part of the early history of chaotic politics in Pakistan. Liaquat Ali Beg was addressing a meeting in Rawalpindi on 16 October 1951. During this, he was shot dead. Immediately after the incident, his killer was also killed by the police. Later this killer was identified as Saeed Akbar. The murderer was a Pakistani policeman.

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was hanged

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who was the Prime Minister of Pakistan from 1973 to 1977, was sentenced to death. He was the foreign minister during Ayub Khan’s regime. While being the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Bhutto had also prepared the structure of the nuclear program there. Later Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was hanged in 1979 on the orders of the Supreme Court. At that time there was a military rule of General Zia-ul-Haq in Pakistan.

Benazir Bhutto was shot dead
Benazir Bhutto was the Prime Minister of Pakistan. She was the daughter of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. On December 27, 2007, Benazir was fired upon in Rawalpindi. Benazir was killed even after high level security. Even the post-mortem of Benazir Bhutto’s body was not done. The police could not arrest the killers of Benazir Bhutto.
Nawaz Sharif had to leave the country
Nawaz Sharif, who was the Prime Minister of Pakistan for three times, also faced many difficulties here, after which he too had to leave the country. During the regime of General Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan’s Anti-Terrorism Court convicted Nawaz Sharif of the crime of corruption. Later Saudi Arabia mediated and he was deported to Jeddah. Later, on August 23, 2007, the Supreme Court allowed Sharif to return to Pakistan, but on September 10, 2007, when Sharif reached Islamabad, he was turned back from the airport itself.
Pervez Musharraf, who carried out the coup, was also deported
The then army chief Pervez Musharraf has also been a popular name in Pakistan’s politics. In 1999, Musharraf became the President of Pakistan by overturning the Nawaz Sharif government. He held this post from 20 June 2001 to 18 August 2008. Many cases were registered against Musharraf only after leaving the post and he had to leave Pakistan.

Distrusting Imran Khan removed from the chair
While being the Prime Minister, Imran Khan could not avoid becoming a victim of opposition politics in Pakistan. Imran Khan was ousted from power by the opposition by passing a no-confidence motion on 9 April. Imran Khan had to face defeat in the voting on the motion of no confidence in the National Assembly of Pakistan on the night of 9th April. In the 342-member house, the opposition got the support of 174 members, which was more than the required number of 172 to remove Prime Minister Imran Khan. After this, Imran opened a front against PM Shahbaz and the Pakistani Army. There was also a fatal attack on him during the road show, but he survived. Now he has been arrested.

Imran arrested in Al-Qadir Trust case
