200 people were being mind washed in one room

Gopalganj. A shocking case came to light from Bihar’s Gopalganj district. Here Hindu organizations organized a prayer meeting on behalf of Christians and created a huge ruckus by alleging conversion. Seeing the situation worsening, the police had to reach the spot and handle the situation. The incident is a settlement of Mahadalits in Chitu Tola Panchayat of Thave police station area. The local people allege that everything was fine in this colony till two years ago. There were hundreds of Hindus in this village, but suddenly the people of this village have started adopting Christianity.

People started going to the prayer meeting organized by Christians in Mahadalit Basti and now the condition is that the people of nearby villages have also started the game of religious conversion. Christian missionaries’ program was going on in Chitu Tola on Sunday also. Someone called and informed about this to Hindu organizations. On getting the information, some people of the Hindu organization reached the spot and started protesting against the program by accusing them of forcefully converting their religion by giving money, due to which there was a scuffle between the two sides. As soon as the information was received, the police force from Thave police station reached the spot and a follower of the Christian missionary, including Dharmdas Ram alias DD Messiah, a resident of Machkan (Pastor) in Hussainganj police station area of Siwan district, Hrithik John of Siwan and Raja Ram Prasad, a resident of Barari Jagdish village of Gopalganj. Three people were taken into custody. After this people were pacified.

It is said that a prayer meeting was organized in a rented house under the leadership of Dharmadas Ram alias DD Messiah, a Christian convert living in Hussainganj police station area of Siwan district, in which a large number of people were invited. The local people allege that the game of religious conversion was started by calling more than 200 people by luring them with superstition and money. When people came to know, everyone ran away from here leaving their belongings and other materials including Bible.
Local BDC Abhimanyu Gupta says that on Sunday afternoon, a program was organized to forcibly convert people from Hinduism to Christianity by spreading superstition, as well as superstition was being spread towards the Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism. That’s why the police was informed and an appeal has been made for legal action. When this was known, the landlord made the Christians vacate the house. It is claimed that all people come here after adopting Christianity and attend the prayer meeting. Dharmadas Ram DD Messiah, who converted to Christianity in police custody, claims that he heals sick people by prayer.

People consider Dharmadas Rampur DD Messiah, a resident of Siwan, to be a Christian. In this case, the police say that the investigation of the whole matter is going on and the people taken into custody are being interrogated. Gopalganj SP Swarna Prabhat said that no one has made a written complaint regarding the conversion. The SP also says that the matter of conversion has not come to the fore yet. He said that the people who believed in Jesus Christ were celebrating the festival of Easter and had come to take food and drink.
