Lebanon: The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has completed 24 days on Saturday, but neither of the two countries is ready to bow down. An Islamic country is also directly being crushed in this war. Who has now spread his hands in front of India for help.

Wheat crisis in the world due to Russia-Ukraine war
In fact, about 200 million tonnes of wheat has been exported every year around the world. The participation of Russia and Ukraine in this export is believed to be 50-50 million tonnes. Whereas the rest of the world’s countries come in the remaining 100 million tonnes.

The threat of starvation in the Islamic country of Lebanon
Wheat exports of both the countries have suddenly stopped due to the fierce war between Russia and Ukraine. Due to which there has been a sudden acute shortage of food grains in many countries of the world dependent on their wheat. The Islamic country of Lebanon is also included in these countries. He has been buying about 60 percent of his requirement i.e. 50 thousand tonnes of wheat from Russia and Ukraine. Now due to the ongoing war between the two countries, this supply of wheat has stopped. Due to which the reserve stock of wheat to feed its population in Lebanon is continuously running out.
The Minister of Economy and Trade of Lebanon, Amin Salam called on the Ambassador of India to Lebanon, Dr. Sohail Ejaz Khan. During this meeting, the Lebanese minister informed about the stoppage of wheat supply due to Russia-Ukraine war and appealed to India for help.
We will deliver wheat to Lebanon: India
According to the report, India’s Ambassador Dr Sohail Ejaz Khan assured the Lebanese minister of help. The ambassador said that India has sufficient stock of wheat and will take steps to supply it to Lebanon.

According to the report, Lebanon has also held talks with Turkey and other countries to address its grain crisis. He is worried that the reserve stock of wheat in the country is continuously getting exhausted. If wheat is not arranged in the country in time, then lakhs of people will face the problem of starvation.
