England: The Indian cricket team defeated the England team by 336 runs in the second test match. With this, the Indian team has achieved a 1-1 draw in the series. Now the fourth match of the series between the two teams will be played on July 10 at the historic ground of Lord’s. Even before this, the England cricket team has taken a big decision and got Gus Atkinson      (Atkinson)  entered in the squad.
He was out due to injury
The performance of England’s bowlers was not good in the second test match against India. Now to strengthen the fast bowling, England has included Gus Atkinson in the squad. He could not play in the first two matches of the series due to injury. He suffered a hamstring injury in the test against Zimbabwe. Now he is fit.

Atkinson played all three formats for England
Gus Atkinson made his Test debut for the England team in the year 2024. Since then, he has taken a total of 55 wickets in 12 Test matches. He has also taken 13 ODI wickets and 6 T20 International wickets for the England team.

Akash Deep took two wickets
In the second Test match, India had given England a target of 608 runs to win, in response to which the England team was reduced to just 271 runs. For India, Akash Deep took a total of 10 wickets in the match and bowled brilliantly. Apart from him, Shubman Gill also played explosive innings. He scored 269 runs in the first innings and 161 runs in the second innings. He received the Player of the Match award for his brilliant performance.
