Officials familiar with the matter said that the White House stenographer’s ears and fingers are badly tired of listening to and typing the comments made by Trump in public appearances. He said that former President Joe Biden was not in the habit of speaking much, due to which the White House stenographer is feeling even more workload after Trump took over the presidency. According to officials, in view of the increasing workload, the recruitment of additional stenographers is being considered in the White House.
Former President Joe Biden spent two hours and 36 minutes talking on camera in the first week of his presidential term in 2021 and spoke a total of 24,259 words. According to the website, Trump spent seven hours and 44 minutes speaking in front of the camera in the first week of his second term as president and during this time he spoke a total of 81,235 words. The website said that the time Trump spent in front of the camera is equivalent to watching three films of the ‘Star Wars’ series one after the other, with some time left over.
