Respect for women is important: Tejashwi( Tejashwi)

Patna: As the dates of assembly elections in Bihar are coming closer, all the parties are trying to reach out to the public. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi  ( Tejashwi) Yadav announced “Mai-Behan Maan Yojana” on formation of government. He said that now women living in Bihar will get 2500 rupees per month.

Respect for women is important
In a specially called press conference in Darbhanga, Tejashwi Yadav said that where there is the blessings of women, there is happiness and prosperity. Following this mantra, we want to empower every woman of Bihar. He said that during my travels, people suffering from inflation from every part of the state have told us their experiences. Due to rising and widespread inflation, families need relief.

Development of Bihar
With the blessings of crores of mothers and sisters of Bihar, we have taken this decision today and we are happy to inform that when our government is formed in 2025, we will work to give Rs 2500 per month to the women of the state under the “Mai-Behan Maan Yojana”. With the new Bihar, the dream of “Prosperous woman, happy family” will also come true.

Development is necessary in every way
The foundation of the reconstruction of Bihar is incomplete without the prosperity of women. We believe that when women receive cash transfers, they invest more money in the well-being of their family, such as nutritious food for the entire family, health care, and education of children. By directly targeting women, our program acknowledges their important role in household and community development. The multiplier effect of these cash transfers is significant. Better economic condition of women is beneficial for the entire family and community.

Small scale industries will be encouraged
The amount given to women by our government will enable women to start small businesses or invest in skills training and promote long-term economic opportunities. Additionally, cash transfer programs will be designed with complementary support such as financial literacy training, which will further promote women’s economic empowerment and long-term economic independence. In this era of inflation, sisters who are unable to eat to their heart’s content, are unable to buy what they want. Today we announce a scheme dedicated to those mothers and sisters.

Tejaswi stands for Bihar
It is Tejashwi’s promise that within a month of forming the government, we will implement this scheme and make every mother, every sister of Bihar self-reliant, happy, prosperous, affluent, healthy and make their life easier. This program will be a direct and effective step of our government towards reducing poverty, promoting gender equality and investing in the social and economic potential of marginalized citizens.

All your sorrows are my responsibility, the new government of Bihar will be the government of our mothers and sisters. Because if the woman of the house is happy and prosperous, the house will prosper, if every house prospers then the whole village will prosper, if the whole village prospers then Bihar will prosper. I have fulfilled every resolution of mine, I have fulfilled every oath, I have fulfilled every promise. In my 17-month tenure, I have fulfilled every promise that I had made to my people.
