Chandigarh: Bhagwant Mann ( Bhagwant Mann)  government of Punjab has given good news. Two holidays have been announced in the beginning of October itself. The first holiday is on October 2, while the second has also been given on October 3. Actually, the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi will be celebrated across the country on October 2. On the occasion of 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, schools, colleges and government offices will be closed in the entire country including Punjab because it is a national holiday. There will be a public holiday across the country on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.

Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has announced a holiday on October 2 as well as October 3 and this holiday has been given for the birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen. In Punjab, holiday has been kept on October 3 due to the birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasen and on this day also all the government and private schools of the state will remain closed. Apart from this, government and private offices will also remain closed.

Many programs are held on the day of Agrasen Jayanti

Let us tell you that Maharaja Agrasen’s birth anniversary is celebrated every year on the fourth day of the month of Ashwin of the Hindu calendar and this time Agrasen Jayanti will be celebrated on October 3.
