Kottayam (Kerala). Who says there can’t be a hole in the sky, throw a stone when you’re sick, guys…! This proverb has been realized by Kuttiyamma, a 104-year-old woman from Kerala. Kuttiyamma has proved that there is no age to study. In fact, Kuttiyamma has set an example for everyone by securing 89 marks out of 100 in the state education examination. Kerala Education Minister Vayudevan Shivankutty on Friday posted on social media a picture of 104-year-old Kuttiyamma scoring a better mark in an examination conducted under the state government’s continuing education initiative.

Sharing a picture of an excited elderly woman Kuttiyamma on Twitter, Kerala Education Minister Vayudevanshivankutty wrote, “104 years old lady Kuttiyamma from Kottayam has secured 89/100 marks in the Kerala State Literacy Mission examination. Age is not a barrier in entering the world of knowledge. With utmost respect and love, I convey my best wishes to Kuttiyamma and all other new learners.
