Jaipur: A tiger that strayed from Sariska National Park in Alwar injured 4 villagers ( 4 people) in Khairthal Tijara district of Rajasthan on Thursday. Rajasthan Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma said that 4 people have been injured in the tiger attack and 2 teams of the forest department are trying to sedate the tiger. He said, ‘The tiger (ST 2303) reached Darbarpur village and entered the fields. 4 people have been injured in the attack and have been admitted to the hospital. A team is camping in the area to sedate the tiger, while another team has been called from Jaipur.’

Giving information about the incident, a local villager said that the villagers working in the fields saw the tiger, which caused panic. He said, ‘Around 100 people gathered and started chasing the tiger. Meanwhile, the tiger attacked, in which 3 locals named Mahendra, Virendra and Satish were injured. The tiger attacked one of Satish’s hands, due to which he was seriously injured.’ Earlier in the morning, a railway employee Vikas Kumar was attacked by a tiger while he was going towards his home in Mundawar. From there, the tiger reached Darbarpur village and is hiding in the fields.
