Jerusalem. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have killed more than 100 Palestinian (Hamas) militants in the past week.
Netanyahu made the remarks at the beginning of a government meeting at the Kirya military base in Tel Aviv on Sunday. He said that, last week, troops killed more than 100 terrorists… Dozens of terrorists are killed on a daily basis, sometimes even more. We will destroy Hamas, bring back our hostages, and win the war.

An IDF statement released later on Sunday revealed that Israeli troops were continuing operations in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The troops are working closely with armoured, engineering and air force units to locate and destroy infrastructure and kill Palestinian terrorists in close-quarters combat scenarios.
Netanyahu said that nine billion shekels (about $2.5 billion) have been given to reservists and their families, and that the state also supports the rights of reservists.
