Islamabad. Amidst the recent expansion in the BRICS group, there was news that Pakistan also wanted to be a part of this group, but did not find a place in it. Now a statement has come from the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan regarding this, in which its pain is clearly visible. Islamabad (Islamabad) has said that it has not yet made a formal request to join the BRICS. He also said that in the last few years, this group has ignored Pakistan while announcing its extensive expansion.
Leaders of the BRICS countries decided on August 24 to admit Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as new full members of the grouping, sealing a long process.
BRICS was formed in September 2006 and originally consisted of Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC). Later, South Africa was included as a full member in September 2010, after which it got the name of ‘BRICS’.
