CM Shinde holds meeting with Shiv Sena (Shiv Sena) MLA

Mumbai. A lot of uneasiness is being seen among the Shiv Sena (Shiv Sena)  MLAs regarding Ajit Pawar, who joined the Eknath Shinde government as Deputy Chief Minister by raising the bugle of rebellion against NCP supremo Sharad Pawar. Meanwhile, CM Eknath Shinde canceled all his programs on Wednesday and called an immediate meeting of all party MLAs and MPs.

After the meeting with CM Shinde, Shiv Sena MLA Uday Samant has categorically denied any differences in the alliance. Samant claimed that the talk of Eknath Shinde’s resignation is wrong. He said, ‘There is no difference between us, the leaders of all the three parties will run the government together.’ Along with this, he said that strengthening the organization was discussed in the meeting with the Chief Minister. Shiv Sena will contest the 2024 elections under the leadership of Eknath Shinde.
What is the need to take Ajit Pawar along?
However, sources said that Shiv Sena MLA Ajit Pawar is objecting to the alliance with the faction. He says that when the Shiv Sena-BJP government already has the support of 170 MLAs, then what was the need to include the NCP in the government.
Earlier in the day, Shiv Sena MP Gajanan Kirtikar had said that the inclusion of Ajit Pawar-led NCP faction in the Maharashtra cabinet has dented the prospects of BJP and Shiv Sena ministerial contenders and some of them are upset and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde aware of this feeling. He said, “After the NCP joined the government, the scope for ministerial candidates from BJP and Shiv Sena has reduced. Some MLAs are angry with this. The Chief Minister is aware of this.
In fact, with the inclusion of nine ministers from the Ajit Pawar camp, the number of members of the Shinde-Fadnavis cabinet has gone up to 29. Now only 14 posts are vacant in the cabinet. Meanwhile, Ajit Pawar announced during the show of strength on Wednesday that he too wants to become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. His statement only worked to increase the dissatisfaction in Shiv Sena.
