Lessons learned from the Galvan Valley skirmish( Galvan Valley )

New Delhi. Air Chief Marshal V.R. Chaudhary said on Friday that the Indian Air Force is ‘fully aware’ of the developments on the northern border since the Galvan Valley ( Galvan Valley ) crisis in the year 2020. He said that the force is constantly expanding its capabilities and changing tactics to deal with any threat. “In three years, we have developed adequate infrastructure and ensured that all our equipment is properly deployed,” the IAF chief said at an event.

Significantly, there is a deadlock between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Eastern Ladakh for the last three years. This situation is after the retreat of troops from both sides from many places and several rounds of diplomatic and military talks. Air Chief Marshal said, ‘We are ready 24 hours to deal with any challenge. We are aware of the developments on the northern border. We regularly monitor the incidents happening there. The Air Force chief expressed this opinion in response to a question about the threat posed by China after the Galwan clash.

“After the Galwan crisis, our primary objective is to increase surveillance in the area to see what is actually happening on the border,” he said. “That is why we deployed a large number of radars in the area. We increased the deployment of surface-to-air missiles. We redeployed our fighter jets. He was addressing the ‘India Economic Conclave’ of Times Network. He said, “We took all those steps so that our presence could be felt and the enemy could be given a reply.”
