Mumbai: A letter threatening to blow up the plane with a bomb was found in the bathroom of an Indigo flight going from Jaipur to Mumbai. Fortunately, after the flight had landed, ( landed) an airline staff found the letter in the bathroom. The flight had a normal landing and after the passengers disembarked, the letter was found in the bathroom of the flight around 9 o’clock, after which the police was immediately informed about it. The flight was inspected, in which the police did not find anything suspicious. The police is now trying to find out who placed this letter in the bathroom and what was the reason behind it.
IndiGo flight made to make emergency landing after woman’s death
Recently, it was also reported that an 89-year-old woman aboard an IndiGo Airlines flight from Mumbai to Varanasi died after her health deteriorated, after which the plane made an emergency landing at Chikalthana airport in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Sunday night.
An airport official gave this information on Monday. The official said that Sushila Devi of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh had boarded the plane from Mumbai and started feeling uneasy during the flight. According to the official, due to a medical emergency, the plane made an emergency landing at Chikalthana airport at around 10 pm.
The medical team present at the airport examined the woman but by then she had died. IndiGo Airlines said in a statement, ‘IndiGo flight 6E-5028 from Mumbai to Varanasi was diverted to Aurangabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) due to an emergency on April 6. Despite immediate medical attention, the passenger’s condition did not improve and he was declared dead on board the flight.’
The airline said it followed all standard safety operating procedures for the well-being of the passengers and crew on board the flight. The statement said IndiGo is in touch with the family of the deceased and is providing assistance as required. The airport official said the MIDC CIDCO police station completed the necessary formalities, after which the flight left for Varanasi.
