IPL: Gujarat Titans team was successful in winning the 19th match of IPL 2025. Gujarat defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets on the basis of captain Shubman (Shubman) Gill’s half-century and Mohammed Siraj’s deadly bowling. With this, the Gujarat team scored a hat-trick of wins. On the other hand, Hyderabad team had to face its fourth consecutive defeat. This is SRH’s second big defeat at home. Strong partnership between Gill and Sundar
Chasing the score of 152 runs of Sunrisers, Gujarat’s innings got off to a very bad start. Sai Sudarshan was out after scoring 5 runs in the third over. After this, Jos Buttler also returned to the pavilion cheaply in the fourth over. During this, captain Shubman Gill took charge and along with Washington Sundar, took the team’s score beyond 100 runs in 13 overs. In the same over, Gill was successful in completing his half-century in 36 balls. In the next over, Washington Sundar had a chance to complete his half-century but Shami dismissed him on the very first ball. Sundar remained one run short of his half-century. He played an innings of 49 runs with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes in 29 balls. There was a partnership of 90 runs for the third wicket between Gill and Sundar.
Shubman Gill played a captaincy innings
After Sundar returned to the pavilion, Sherfane Rutherford came to support Captain Gill and hit a flurry of fours in the 15th over. Rutherford scored a total of 18 runs by hitting 4 fours in this over of Abhishek Sharma. After this, Gill took a single on the fourth ball of the 17th over and gave his team a big win by 7 wickets. In this way, Gujarat registered its fourth consecutive win against Sunrisers. Captain Gill scored an unbeaten 61 runs off 43 balls. He hit 9 fours in his innings. Rutherford scored 35 runs off 16 balls and returned unbeaten. He hit 6 fours and 1 six in his innings.
