RCB wins WPL title for the second time  ( RCB ) 

Women’s Premier League: In the final match of the fourth season of the Women’s Premier League, the Royal Challengers Bangalore women’s team chased down a record target of 204 runs against Delhi Capitals to win the title for the second time. RCB’s captain Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Wareham played crucial roles with the bat in securing the victory in the final match, forging a record-breaking 165-run partnership for the second wicket, which completely dominated the match. Smriti Mandhana scored 87 runs, while Georgia Wareham contributed 79 runs. RCB    ( RCB )  achieved the target in 19.4 overs. With this loss, Delhi Capitals failed to win the trophy despite reaching the final in all four seasons of the Women’s Premier League.

In the final match of the fourth season of the Women’s Premier League against Delhi Capitals, the RCB women’s team did not have a good start while chasing a target of 204 runs, losing their first wicket in the first ball of the second over in the form of Grace Harris at a score of 9. Georgia Wareham, who came in to bat next, started scoring runs quickly from one end, completely relieving the pressure on Smriti Mandhana. At the end of 6 overs, the RCB women’s team had scored 59 runs for the loss of one wicket. From there, Mandhana and Wareham did not let the scoring rate slow down and continued to score runs rapidly.

Georgia Wareham and Smriti Mandhana shared a 165-run partnership for the second wicket in just 92 balls, which was the biggest partnership for any wicket in the history of the WPL. Wareham returned to the pavilion after scoring 79 runs off 54 balls, including 14 fours. Smriti Mandhana, however, lost her wicket just before the team could secure the win, after scoring 87 runs off 41 balls, including 12 fours and three sixes.

Radha Yadav secured a thrilling victory with two consecutive fours.
The RCB team had scored 194 runs for the loss of four wickets after 19 overs, needing 10 runs to win in the final over. Only two runs were scored off the first two balls of the over. Then, on the third ball, Radha Yadav hit a four, bringing the team closer to victory, and on the very next ball, she hit another four, playing a crucial role in securing a spectacular win for her team.
