Police raided Delhi to arrest him  (Police)

New Delhi: Troubles have increased for Amanatullah Khan, MLA from Okhla, Delhi and AAP leader. The Delhi Police  (Police) Crime Branch and Special Cell have raided about a dozen places in Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh to arrest Amanatullah Khan. Delhi Police claims that they will arrest Amanatullah soon. Amanatullah Khan’s phone is switched off. Many Aam Aadmi Party leaders are helping Amanatullah. Delhi Police has raided many places in Meerut.

What is the whole matter?

Supporters of Aam Aadmi Party leader and Okhla Assembly seat MLA Amanatullah Khan have been accused of freeing a criminal from police custody. In this case, DCP South East Ravi Kumar Singh said, ‘On receiving information, a team of Delhi Police Crime Branch reached to arrest a criminal. During that time, Amanatullah Khan arrived with his supporters and helped the criminal Shavez Khan to escape. We have registered an FIR against Amanatullah Khan and his supporters under the sections of organized crime. We have not been able to contact Amanatullah Khan and neither is he cooperating in the investigation.’

The police officer had told that we have registered a case against Amanatullah Khan and his supporters. We are trying to contact him and taking the investigation forward. According to the complaint, about 20 people had gathered, on which investigation is going on. We have many teams which are investigating this matter. Let us tell you that the accused who attacked the team of Crime Branch Inspector Sunil Kalkhande and tried to murder him has been freed. Actually the case is of Jamia Nagar area, where the Crime Branch team had gone to arrest the accused.
