The hero of this victory for Delhi was Ashutosh Sharma, who played a match-winning innings of 66 runs with the help of 5 fours and as many sixes in 31 balls. Chasing the target of 210 runs, Delhi’s team had lost 5 wickets at a score of 65 at one point. Then Ashutosh, who came to bat, made a good partnership with Stubbs (34) and Vipraaj Nigam (39) and brought Delhi back in the match. In this thrilling match, Delhi won in the last over.

After losing the toss, Lucknow got off to a very good start after batting first. Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh shared a 46-run partnership for the first wicket.
