LSG suffered its first defeat under Pant’s captaincy  (LSG ) 

IPL: In the fourth match of IPL 2025, Delhi Capitals defeated Lucknow Super Giants  (LSG )  by just 1 wicket. The hero of this victory for Delhi was Ashutosh Sharma, who played a match-winning innings of 66 runs with the help of 5 fours and as many sixes in 31 balls. Chasing the target of 210 runs, Delhi’s team had lost 5 wickets at a score of 65 at one point. Then Ashutosh, who came to bat, made a good partnership with Stubbs (34) and Vipraaj Nigam (39) and brought Delhi back in the match. In this thrilling match, Delhi won in the last over.

Pooran and Marsh played a tremendous innings for Lucknow
After losing the toss, Lucknow got off to a very good start after batting first. Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh shared a 46-run partnership for the first wicket.
