‘It is murder, not suicide'( murder,) 

Odisha: The alleged suicide of two children in Dhanchangra village of Nayagarh district on Monday has created a sensation. It is being said that two minor brothers committed suicide when they heard about their father’s second marriage. The bodies of both the children have been recovered in suspicious condition. This incident happened when their father received a proposal for second marriage and just a day after receiving the proposal, both the children were found dead. Villagers say that the children did not commit suicide, they were murdered. ( murder,) 

The children’s mother had already died

The name of the father of the deceased children is Prakash Mohanty, the mother of the children i.e. Mohanty’s wife had died three years ago. He had two sons, whose ages were 14 and 11 years. Prakash had received a second marriage proposal on Sunday but today both his children were found dead. Prakash’s father, Achyut Mohanty told the police that his grandson was hurt by the news of his father’s second marriage and committed suicide. But some people in the village are doubting this and believe that the children are being murdered and it is being made to look like a suicide.

Father taken into custody by police

As soon as the incident was reported, the Fategarh police station reached the spot and took the bodies of both the children into custody and took Prakash Mohanty into custody for questioning. Nayagarh Superintendent of Police said, “We received information that the bodies of two minor boys have been recovered in Dhanchangra village. Our police team and scientific team are present at the spot.

Villagers suspect murder

Police said that the local people suspect Prakash Mohanty, so we have taken him into custody. The real cause of death will be revealed only after the post-mortem report and investigation. At present, the police is investigating the matter deeply. Only on the basis of the post-mortem report and other evidence will it be clear whether it was a suicide or someone has murdered these innocent children.
