Indian Hockey Team: Indian team ( Indian team) has won the Hockey Asia Cup 2025 title by defeating South Korea 4-1. The Korean team could not stand in front of India. Along with winning the title, India has also qualified for the Hockey World Cup 2026 to be held next year. The Indian team performed strongly throughout the tournament and did not lose a single match. In the final, the Indian bravehearts defeated the Korean team in a one-sided manner.

The Indian team got off to a great start in the match, when Sukhjeet Singh scored a goal within a few seconds of the start of the match and gave the Indian team a 1-0 lead. After this, the Indian players adopted an aggressive stance and kept the ball with them most of the time. The experienced South Korean team also looked under pressure in front of India. Dilpreet doubled the lead
In the second quarter, Dilpreet Singh scored a goal in the 27th minute. This infused new energy in the Indian team and doubled its lead. Even after this goal, India continued to attack. On the other hand, South Korean players created chances to score goals, but they did not succeed.

Then in the end of this quarter, Dilpreet Singh scored a goal for India, which was his second goal in the match. Then in the fourth quarter, Amit Rohidas scored a goal for India in the 49th minute and increased India’s lead to 4-0. Korean players looked completely tired in the match and could not perform well. Son Dian scored the only goal for them in the 50th minute. In the end, India won the match 4-1 and also got a ticket to the World Cup.

The Indian hockey team has won the Asia Cup title for the fourth time. India had earlier won the Hockey Asia Cup trophy in 2017, 2007, 2003. India defeated Pakistan. Pakistan had won the Hockey Asia Cup title only three times (1982, 1985, 1989).
