He said that the state government, taking inspiration from the respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has made many new schemes for every sector and class from villages to cities, from farmers to youth, from women to labour force, from traders to employees and has also implemented them on the ground. The result of which is that today in the state, on one hand, the infrastructure of all basic needs including roads, education, health and drinking water is being strengthened from cities to remote border and mountain villages. At the same time, milk production, honey production, agriculture, horticulture, cultivation of aromatic plants and flowers etc. are also being encouraged with the aim of economically empowering the farmers of the state. He said that through these schemes, the daughters of the state are not only getting selected in various government services, but are also becoming self-reliant through self-help groups, startups and small industries.
He said that we are continuously working with full commitment for the overall development of all the districts of the state. In the same sequence, work is being done on many development projects in Haridwar district as well. He said that on one hand, by implementing the Uniform Civil Code law in the state, a uniform law has been established for all citizens. At the same time, a strict anti-copying law has also been implemented in the state to curb those who play with the future of the youth, as a result of which today more than 24 thousand youth of the state have succeeded in getting government jobs without any copying. Sons and daughters born in normal families do not have to go to anyone’s door. He said that after the anti-copying law, the basis of selection is not corruption, not copying mafia, not paper leak, not pen drive, but today the basis of selection is merit and ability.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he is working with determination with the policy of “zero tolerance” to eliminate corruption from the state. He said that everyone knows very well that earlier there was a perception that action is taken only against small employees if found involved in corruption. He said that in the last three and a half years, more than 200 people involved in corruption have also been sent behind the bars of the jail. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave a clear message from the banks of Maa Ganga that the corrupt should either reform or be ready to go to jail.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that everyone will also have to remember who enjoyed the power for years, and only pushed Uttarakhand into the quagmire of scams, unemployment, migration and appeasement. Under whose rule, the governance of the state had completely collapsed and our youth, farmers and women power of the state were forced to wander from door to door and development was confined only to files. Whose entire politics revolved around a single family and its policy of appeasement. For them, not the public but the family came first, for them, not the state but the vote bank came first. He asked the public that do you all remember which party it was? He said that this is the reason that whenever this party was in power, the development of Uttarakhand was blocked. But, now that time is over, now the public has woken up.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that along with the country, Uttarakhand is also moving forward with a clear policy and decisive leadership, where ‘development’ is the priority, ‘honesty’ is the identity, and ‘service’ is the resolution. He said that the state government is continuously working with its ‘option less resolution’ to make Devbhoomi Uttarakhand the best state of the country and our ‘option less resolution’ is to create a distinct identity of Uttarakhand, to make every village smart and prosperous, to make the youth self-reliant and capable, to take tourism to new heights in the state, to preserve the confluence of nature, culture and progress, to provide employment to the youth by stopping migration, to provide security and respect to every daughter of the state, to make every farmer brother prosperous and happy, to take the state to new heights of education, health, and prosperity and to make Uttarakhand the best state of the country.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami proudly said that whatever we said, we did it and whatever we will say in the future, we will do it too. He said that we should all take a pledge once again that we will not get tired, nor stop and will keep moving forward like this until we take Devbhoomi to the heights of development.
