IPL: In the 47th match of IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals defeated Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets thanks to the charismatic century of 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Vaibhav Suryavanshi created a new record by scoring a century in 35 balls for Rajasthan. Suryavanshi scored a century in IPL with the help of 7 fours and 11 sixes in 35 balls. In this way, Suryavanshi became the fastest Indian batsman to score a century in IPL. He broke the record ( records) of Yusuf Pathan. Pathan had done wonders of scoring a century in IPL in 37 balls. Thanks to this explosive century of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Rajasthan team achieved the great feat of achieving the target of more than 200 runs in just 15.5 overs. Rajasthan Royals team has now become the fastest team to achieve the target of 200+ runs in IPL.
Batting first, Gujarat scored 209 runs after losing 4 wickets. In response, openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal made a brilliant start for the Rajasthan team. Both of them batted in a stormy manner and scored 144 runs in just 10 overs. Vaibhav managed to complete his century in the next over. Suryavanshi hit 11 sixes in his century innings of 101 runs, which is the record for the most sixes hit by an Indian batsman in an innings of an IPL match. Suryavanshi equaled Murali Vijay’s record.
