Delhi: The Super 4 matches have now started in the Asia Cup Hockey. The Indian    ( India )  team had confirmed its place in the Super 4 by winning three consecutive matches. When India had to play its first match against Korea here, the match ended in a draw. Both teams scored 2-2 goals. However, even after this, the thrill of the match remained till the last minute. The Indian team is considered a strong contender to go to the final.

India scored the first goal soon, then Korea scored two goals
India had scored the first goal much earlier in the Super 4 match of Asia Cup Hockey played against Korea, but after this the Korean team retaliated and scored two back to back goals to first equalize and then take the lead. At that time it seemed that India would lose this match, but a goal in the last quarter did wonders. Eventually the match ended in a draw.

Hardik Singh and Mandeep scored for India

Shortly after the match started, Hardik Singh scored the first goal and gave the Indian team the lead. However, due to Jugraj Singh’s mistake, Korea got a penalty stroke, which the team converted into a goal and equalized. After this, Korea got a penalty corner, after which the score became 2-1 in favor of Korea. In the last moment, Mandeep Singh scored a goal for India and the match ended in a draw. For a while, it seemed as if India would win this match, but Korea also played well and did not let any goal be scored.

The Indian team had won all the matches of Pool A. India first defeated China by four goals against three. After this, in the second match, India defeated Japan by three goals against two. In the third match, the Indian team defeated Kazakhstan by 15 goals in a nearly one-sided match. All the teams will face each other in the Super 4. After this, the top two teams will play the final. Now India will face Malaysia on September 4. It will be important for India to win in this.
