6 policemen in trouble   (6 policemen)

Jaipur: A youth identified as Manish Pandey (28) committed suicide by hanging himself in Sadar police station of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan,  Manish was caught stealing a vehicle. Six policemen   (6 policemen)   have been suspended in this case.

Youth was in an intoxicated state
According to the police, Manish Pandey was detained on charges of attempting to steal a vehicle. It is being told that he was in an intoxicated state and was sitting near a room in the police station. When the policemen were busy with their work, Manish went to a room and allegedly hanged himself.

Family members protest outside mortuary
Manish was immediately taken to SMS Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. After this incident, the family members of the deceased protested outside the mortuary demanding strict action against the policemen.

Action against 6 policemen including Sadar Thanadhikari

Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the Police Commissioner took immediate action and removed Sadar Thanadhikari and five other policemen from Sadar police station and put them on line duty. The police has said that a judicial inquiry will be conducted into the entire matter, so that all aspects of the incident can be investigated impartially and thoroughly.
