Delhi: US Vice President JD Vance is on a visit to India with his family. On Monday evening, JD Vance (JD Vance ) met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi welcomed JD Vance and his family at the PM residence on Lok Kalyan Marg. Let us tell you that earlier US Vice President Vance and his wife Usha landed at Palam Airbase in New Delhi around 9.30 am on Monday. He has arrived on a 4-day visit to India. PM Modi and JD Vance discussed many important issues.
The two leaders discussed these issues
PM Modi hosted the US Vice President and his family and recalled his visit to Washington in January and the discussions he had with President Trump. PM Modi and JD Vance also reviewed the progress in bilateral relations after their meeting in Paris this year. The two leaders welcomed the progress in the India-US bilateral trade agreement and efforts to advance cooperation in energy, defense, strategic technology. The two leaders also discussed a number of regional and global issues of mutual interest.
PM Modi has sent best wishes to President Trump and said that he is looking forward to his visit to India later this year. PM Modi and US Vice President JD Vance have called for dialogue and diplomacy to move forward.
PM Modi gave information about the meeting
Regarding the meeting with JD Vance, PM Modi wrote on X – “Happy to welcome the US Vice President and his family in New Delhi. I reviewed the rapid progress after my visit to the US and meeting with President Trump. We are committed to mutually beneficial cooperation, including trade, technology, defense, energy. The strategic partnership between India and the US will be a defining partnership of the 21st century for a better future for our people and the world.”
Vance visited Akshardham Temple
After reaching Delhi, US Vice President JD Vance, his wife Usha Vance and their children visited the famous Akshardham Temple located in Delhi. The children of the US Vice President were seen wearing traditional Indian attire including Anarkali suit, kurta and pyjama. JD Vance prayed at the temple with wife Usha.
JD Vance will visit Jaipur and Agra
JD Vance and his family will also visit Jaipur and Agra. Vance will travel to Jaipur with the family by a special plane and will stay at the Rambagh Palace Hotel there. He will reach Amer Fort in Jaipur on Tuesday morning and will address a program at RIC at 3 pm. After this, Vance will go to Agra with the family on Wednesday. He will return to Jaipur in the afternoon and visit the City Palace. After this, Vance and his family will leave for America on Thursday morning.
