Shocking revelation in Murshidabad violence( Murshidabad) 

Recently, the movement against the Waqf Amendment Act in Murshidabad, ( Murshidabad)  West Bengal took a violent turn. In this violence, the Hindu community was targeted and there was a lot of violence and arson. Many people died in this violence and many were injured, after which a large number of families started migrating from Murshidabad. Now a big revelation was made in the intelligence report regarding this violence. According to the report, Bangladeshi terrorists were involved in the violence in Murshidabad.

What did the intelligence report reveal?

According to PTI, sources have cited intelligence reports and informed that members of two radical or terrorist organizations based in Bangladesh, Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), were allegedly involved in the violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal. Citing this intelligence report, sources have claimed that this violence in Murshidabad was carried out by Bangladeshi miscreants and they allegedly got help from local leaders of a political party.

Know about JMB and ABT

Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen is a banned terrorist group operating from Bangladesh. This organization also has links with Lashkar-e-Taiba, Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami and ISIS. This organization is accused of carrying out hundreds of bomb blasts. Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen was banned by the Bangladesh government in the year 2005. Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh or Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen India or Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Hindustan and all its organizations are banned in India. At the same time, Ansarullah Bangla Team is also a terrorist organization operating from Bangladesh. Between 2013 and 2015, this organization attacked and killed many atheist bloggers. Many members of this terrorist organization have also been caught in India.

Home Ministry keeping an eye on the situation in Murshidabad

On last Friday and Saturday, violence broke out in many areas including Suti, Dhuliyan and Jangipur in Murshidabad in which at least three people died. A large number of BSF, CRPF, state police and RAF personnel have been deployed in Jangipur, Dhuliyan, Suti and Shamsherganj. According to officials, the situation in the area is gradually becoming normal. The Union Home Ministry is also keeping an eye on the situation in Murshidabad. BSF has been asked to keep a strict vigil on the India-Bangladesh border to prevent illegal infiltration into Bengal.
