Vijing: China called on different countries to increase cooperation to combat terrorism for regional security. The US has declared The Resistance Front (TRF), a front organization of Pakistan’s terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, (TRF) a global terrorist organization, which took responsibility for the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. China has given this statement after this incident.
China mentioned the Pahalgam terrorist attack
Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said, “China firmly opposes all forms of terrorism and strongly condemns the terrorist attack on April 22.” He was asked about the US State Department declaring TRF a global terrorist organization. He said, “China calls on various countries to enhance counter-terrorism cooperation and jointly maintain regional security and stability.” Earlier, in a statement, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that this action reflects America’s commitment to implement President Donald Trump’s stance regarding justice in the Pahalgam attack case. Many terrorist groups of Pakistan are banned Many Pakistani terrorist groups and individuals are listed under the 1267 sanctions system of the United Nations Security Council. These include terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Jamaat-ud-Dawa as well as terrorists like Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar. After the Pahalgam attack, the United Nations Security Council issued a statement on April 25 condemning the attack, but after objections from Pakistan and China, the mention of TRF and Lashkar-e-Taiba was removed from the statement. 26 people were killed in the attack on 22 April in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The Resistance Front (TRF) had taken responsibility for the attack, but later withdrew its statement when tensions between India and Pakistan escalated.
In response to the Pahalgam attack, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on the night of May 6-7, in which nine terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were targeted.
